I enjoy writing stories about people who face morally complicated decisions and learn to navigate big changes to their worlds. Most of those situations turn out to be darkly funny.

Some of my stories are set in a dystopian near-future where my protagonist must draw on strengths she didn’t know she had. A dash of magical realism is always fascinating, too.
